This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, protect, and disclose information when you use our email management platform. It outlines the data we handle, the security measures we take, and your rights regarding your information.

Information You Provide

When using InboxSlash, you may provide us with personal information, such as your email address and login credentials necessary to access and utilize the platform.

As part of the email management process, we may automatically collect and process data related to your email activity. This includes:

  • Sender and recipient email addresses

  • Subject lines

  • Email metadata (such as timestamps)

  • Email content, where necessary for AI-driven features like blocking cold emails and unsubscribing from newsletters

Important:

InboxSlash does not use Google Workspace user data to develop, improve, or train generalized AI or machine learning models.

How We Share Information

InboxSlash may share information with trusted third parties, strictly to support the functionality of our platform:

  • OpenAI: To power AI-driven features, some email data may be temporarily processed by OpenAI. OpenAI follows strict data retention policies and does not use data submitted via their API to train their models. Data is typically deleted within 30 days.

  • PostHog: We use PostHog for product analytics to understand how users interact with InboxSlash and to enhance user experience.

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.

Data Security

We implement a variety of industry-standard security measures to safeguard your personal information, including:

  • Encryption of data in transit (SSL/TLS)

  • Secure storage with access controls

  • Regular security audits and vulnerability assessments

However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but are committed to protecting your data to the best of our abilities.

Data Retention and Deletion

  • We retain your data only for as long as necessary to provide you with InboxSlash services, or as required by law.

  • If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days unless a longer retention period is required by law.

  • You can request account deletion at any time by contacting privacy@inboxslash.com

Use of Google Workspace Data
